Meet the Dentists

Dr. Hamid Mousavi & Dr. Maiya Yokich

Dr. Mousavi is a graduate of McMaster University and the University of Toronto. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has a keen interest in digital dentistry, family care, orthodontics, pediatrics, and cosmetics. Dr. Mousavi grew up in Toronto, and is an avid sportsman, outdoors person, and musician. He has volunteered with various local dental outreach programs for youth and individuals with special needs, and has worked with indigenous communities in remote areas of Northern Ontario.

Dr. Yokich obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto. She is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, Ontario Dental Association and Canadian Dental Association. Dr. Yokich is accomplished in all areas of general dentistry including restorative, pediatric, endodontic and cosmetic dentistry. Through her practicum at the University of Toronto, she worked with patients with special needs, as well as patients from the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.

I visited Muskoka Dental today and was warmly greeted by Lauren. I was to have a tooth removed and it was the first time I was having a procedure done by Dr. Yokich. Although I have been a patient at this Dental Practice for a number of years, it has had different personnel from time to time.
